Local Green Party

As a new party, we are actively looking for new members and volunteers to help us achieve our first Green Councillors.  Your involvement is valued, whether you are only able to put up some posters or deliver our leaflets to your street right up to standing for Election and being one of our first Green Councillors.

Our members and volunteers are key to our success, so we make sure we look after them. Everyone has something to offer and in return, we can provide mentoring, training and development.

If you are sitting there thinking that there isn't anything you have to offer, then think again, these are the roles we currently need volunteers for...

People to run the tea and coffee stall at New Members Coffee Mornings and fundraising Coffee Mornings

People who are happy to sit with children and do activities such as colouring and making things out of recycled stuff (DBS will be needed)

People who are happy to put up a poster in their windows or a board in their gardens at election time

People who are handy and can make our boards to put in peoples gardens

People who can deliver our leaflets and newsletters in their street

People who can help write the newsletters or write articles for them

People who like talking and would like to man a stall at one of our events

People who like canvassing or would like to try it (we have excellent training available in this area and you are never left alone to get on with it)

People who are good with computers, understand data and love detail

People who love organising

People who understand planning

People who are natural strategists

People who would like to be a candidate for the local council elections either as paper candidates or as a full-on, campaign backed Candidate!

People who would like to meet up with like-minded people

People who would like to make a difference
